The Lake-Geauga League of Libraries presents the Northcoast Writers' Showcase Saturday, April 13, 2019 from 11am to 5pm at Lakeland Community College.

Imbolo Mbue, the bestelling author of Behold the Dreamers, will be the keynote speaker.  Meet Imolo and many other local authors at this event.  Purchase books, attend breakout sessions and spend the day exploring the art of writing and story telling.  Imbolo will speak, and sign books, starting at 3pm in the Dr. Wayne L. Rodehorst performing Arts Center in Lakeland's D Building.  

Authors will be ready to meet and greet readers beginning at 11am.  Breakout sessions are at Noon, 1pm and 2pm and will be led by:  David Giffels, Mindy McGinnis, Claire McMillan, Deanna Adams, Rachele Alpine, Sara Dobie Bauer and Alan Dutka.

The Northcoast Writers' Showcase is presented by the Lake-Geauga League of Libraries in conjunction with Lubrizol, Lakeland Community College and the Lake County Visitors Bureau.  For more information of to register for this event, visit:  www.leagueoflibraries.org

The Lake-Geauga League of Libraries is a group of twelve public and academic libraries in Lake and Geauga County that have partnered to promote the arts and education in the region.  The League includes:  Burton, Fairport Harbor, Geauga County, Kirtland, Lakeland Community College, James F. Lincoln at Lake Erie College, Madison, Mentor, Morley, Perry, Wickliffe and Willoughby-Eastlake Public Libraries.
