A struggle to pay off college debt led Eliese Colette Goldbach to take a job in a steel mill in the Cleveland Flats. It was hard, dangerous work, but the pay was good. She got a lot more than just a paycheck. It caused her to examine her experiences growing up in Cleveland.
Goldbach will talk about her book, Rust: A Memoir of Steel and Grit, at the Kirtland Library on March 23, 2022 at 7:00pm.
This program is free and seats are limited, please register. Sponsored by the Friends of the Kirtland Public Library.
