Used Book Sale February 1st 9:30am-1:30pm The Friends of the Kirtland Public Library are hosting a used book sale in the book cellar on Saturday, February 2nd, from 9:30am-1:30pm. It is cash only. Grocery bags are $4.00 and large bags are $7.00 each. Come to the back door of the Library for entry for this event only. Knit & Crochet February 3rd &18 6pm Knit & Crochet Club is a drop-in event. It is open to anyone who enjoys knitting, crocheting or is interested in learning. We will host it the first Monday and third Tuesday of each month. Bring your own supplies and join the fun from 6-7pm. Drop in and get hooked!

Ohio's Presidential Past February 12th 7pm Ohio is sometimes called the Mother of Presidents, and it is claimed that the state has produced more U.S. Presidents than any other state. Join the Western Reserve Historical Society's Chief Curator Eric Rivet to learn about the truth behind this claim and to hear stories about the men from Ohio that have held the nation's greatest office. No Pressure Book Discussion February 24th 1:30pm Join us in the Community Room to talk about any books you've read recently that you want to recommend to others! Bring a bagged lunch, if you like, and get some new author ideas. Registration is not required. Just for February, we will be partnering with the Kirtland Community Center and the Life Adjustment Group to read and discuss, "The Borrowed Life of Frederick Fife" by Anna Johnston. Pick up your copy at the Library soon to engage in some great conversation with us. Cookbook Club and Culinary Class: Everything Chocolate February 25th 6pm Cookbook Club and Culinary Class: Everything Chocolate For the month of February, we will join both Cookbook Club and Culinary Class together to explore the wonders of chocolate. You will get to sample a main dish, a salad and dessert and take home some recipes to try for yourself. The cost for this class is $10 cash at the door per person and space is limited. Join us on this culinary adventure by signing up today. Cancellation for any culinary class needs to be at least three days before the class to avoid cost to the library. Sign up
3D Printed Jewelry February 26th 2pm & 6pm Learn how to design customized jewelry on Tinkercad. This class is designed for beginners, no previous experience in 3D design is necessary to attend. Registration is required. Designs will be ready for pickup 1-2 weeks after the class. This class was made possible through the generous donations of the Deloris C. Parsons Endowment Fund.
